An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, well organised practice. We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for a maximum of 8 sessions - with a view to a partnership.
We have an excellent clinical team comprising of GPs, ANP, Clinical Pharmacist, nurse prescribers, practice nurses, ARRS roles, and student nurses, all supported by a superb administrative team.
We are located in a purpose-built LIFT building conveniently close to the M65.
We have a good CQC rating and are high achievers in all areas of QOF. We are also a research practice.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the post include:
* Telephone, face-to-face, video, and online consultations
* Home visits where appropriate
* Workflow management including tasks and medicine management
* Referrals
* Participation in clinical audits and Quality Improvement schemes
* Keeping up to date with skills, mandatory training, and the revalidation process

Job responsibilities
Each session is 4 hours 10 mins, with a standard working day to include:
* Maximum patient allocation of 30 and associated admin
* Workflow medicine management
* Infrequent visits
A salaried GP is also expected to undertake a share of non-NHS (Private) work, audits, QOF, attend practice meetings, and keep up to date with practice protocols and policies as well as mandatory training and personal skills.

Qualifications
* GMC Registered General Practitioner
* On the NHS performers list and eligible to work in Primary Care
Experience
* Previous experience of EMIS Web
* Good basic IT skills
* Experience of working in a GP practice
