The Department of Chemistry is actively looking for a Research Fellow (Project Manager) who will be responsible for the management of the recently awarded EU Horizon project: NATPRIME ‘Effective Delivery of Nucleic Acid Therapeutics via Designed Nanocarriers’. The project brings together academics and companies with expertise in organic synthesis, polymer synthesis, biophysics, particle science, biology, immunology and molecular machines. The consortium includes ten institution members and three companies, with the University of Warwick and Eindhoven University of Technology as the lead institutions. The team at the University of Warwick will be comprised of NATPRIME Coordinator and Lead Investigator Prof. Remzi Becer (Chemistry) and the appointed Research Fellow (Project Officer).
The post holder will be required to link with Brussels and the project partners across the eleven collaborating institutions/companies and take a lead on the management and coordination aspects. Post holder will be required to travel frequently within the UK and EU to organise and attend the consortium meetings, keep the minutes and prepare the reports of the meetings and prepare them to be submitted to the EU portal. Scientific knowledge and experience in the relevant field is desired for the post holder.
