Mathematical Modelling Software Engineer required to work on the maintenance and development of Industrial Process Models used to simulate materials processing and industrial production processes.
The right candidate will have a strong grasp of physics and engineering principles with graduate, post graduate and possibly research qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or similar with exposure to industrial mathematical modelling. You must also have fluent programming skills in C++ or C.
The ideal candidate will also have
Visual Studio and Git experience
Software development coding standards, procedures and best practice.
Mathematical modelling experience of physical systems.
Responsibilities
Maintain and develop process models, code core model and user interfaces using process data to calibrate against real:world situations.
Improve the model?s efficiency and usability both internally and for customer use.
Develop the skills and domain knowledge required your models to real:world problems in collaboration with process engineers, consultants and other specialist experts.
