JOB SUMMARY
The Manager Talent Programs EMEA reports into the Director Talent Programs EMEA and coordinates the management of Early Career Development programs across the region.
The role provides high-level oversight of the Talent Programs in scope and works with market & property leadership to set programs and participants up for success, ensuring mandatory program elements can be completed and a process of escalation is in place. The role tracks and measures the specific program return on investment. This also includes all communication with educational partners and third-party vendors that form part of the programs in scope.
The Manager Talent Programs is an expert in career development and provides the right level of expertise in the creation of new programs that can be successfully handed over to markets. Therefore, this role communicates with multiple stakeholders, including regional HR Teams and local representatives in markets as well as the University Relations and Early Careers Team as part of Talent Acquisition.
The role is part of the larger Learning & Development team and supports in all EMEA L&D initiatives including the facilitation of leadership programs and pre-opening L&D support. Ideally, we aim to base this role in our Eschborn (Frankfurt) or Dubai office. However, candidates located in the UK may also be considered to work from our London office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages Voyage, Marriott’s graduate development program
1. Promotes and informs Property HR Leaders about VOYAGE and ensures program success.
2. Collaborates with Early Careers Talent Acquisition & University Recruitment during the recruitment period.
3. Ensures that property leaders have all resources to make Voyage a success.
4. Conducts Voyage orientation for all incoming Voyagers.
5. Establishes a Voyage community and manages Voyage Alumni engagement.
6. Liaises with the Global Voyage Team and other continent leads as well as Area HR teams to ensure program alignment and success.
7. Keeps abreast of program updates and communicates with properties.
Manages Localization programs & Educational Benefit programs in EMEA
8. Coordinates and manages program framework.
9. Lends know-how on request for new programs if required
10. Liaises with educational and property partners for existing Talent Programs.
11. Ensures students are examined and results communicated to partner institutions
12. Provides oversight of all localization programs
Coordinates Elevate program for EMEA
13. Supports EMEA wide communication and coordination of Elevate.
14. Liaises with Global team about implementation of program strategies.
15. Tracks EMEA participation and success rate of participants and Alumni.
Supports Finance Leadership Management Journey
16. Liaises with EMEA Finance team to support this Finance specific talent program
17. Manages curriculum completion and participant administration of the program
Executes on Automation of Programs
18. Executes strategies supporting enterprise mindset approach for Talent Programs
19. Ensures Talent Programs in scope are fit to be executed at scale.
Manages administration and events linked to programs
20. Works on talent analytics for programs in scope
21. Ensures in-person elements of specific Talent Program are conducted and planned with hotel teams
22. Maintains program P&L and budget
Supports other Learning and Development Functions
23. Delivery of Leadership Programs
24. Support of Pre-Opening L&D team with brand immersions and culture training
