My client based in Colwick NG4 is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join their team on a temp ongoing basis, guaranteed work with the chance to go permanent for the right person.
Role Purpose:
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality gas cylinders while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards. The role involves working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Operations:
o Operate machinery and equipment as required.
o Perform manual handling tasks, such as lifting, positioning, and assembling materials or components.
o Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to complete production tasks efficiently.
2. Quality Control:
o Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
o Report any defects or non-conformities to the supervisor immediately.
o Complete quality checks and maintain accurate records where required.
3. Health & Safety Compliance:
o Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
o Maintain a clean and organised workspace to prevent hazards.
o Identify and report potential safety risks or hazards.
4. Teamwork and Communication:
o Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure production targets are achieved.
o Provide feedback to improve processes and workflows.
5. General Duties:
o Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
o Support other departments as required.
o Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

Mornings 0600-1400, Afters 1400-2200, Nights 2200-0600.
You will be given a shift allowance for both shifts paid per day: Mornings/Afters £13.80 per day, Nights £19.74 per day.
