Additional Hours: 8.5 hours (paid sleep ins) every 2 weeks at the real living wage £12.00 per hour

About your role:
Our Independence Training Facilities train students with learning difficulties and disabilities who are attending College study programmes to live independent lives. You will be bringing your residential experience to this role, working closely with the College's teaching and Additional Learning Support teams.
As an Independent Living Support Worker, you will work as part of a team to promote a positive experience and support students to work towards the “Preparing for Adulthood” outcomes:

4. Community Inclusion
The vacancy is for a 12 hours a week role working during the college term times for 38 weeks of the year. You will have the opportunity to carry out sleep-ins (22:00 – 06:30) which are paid in addition to your salary at the Real Living Wage. You will be automatically enrolled into the centre's sleep-in rota (1 sleep-in per fortnight) and the spare sleep-in rotation. You can choose to opt out at any time by speaking to the Independence Training Facility Manager.
