NIFRS wish to invite applications for the following role: Driver Trainer - Job Ref N003 Jan 2025 The Driver Trainer's role will be to train, develop and assess operational personnel, support staff and others as directed, in the theory and practice of Basic, Standard and Advanced Driving, to the standards and requirements of current Driver legislation and in line with NIFRS policies and procedures and Health & Safety Guidance. To contribute as an integral member of the Learning & Development Team, to provide a modern and professional service to support the purpose, outcomes and values of NIFRS. Hours of work; Currently 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. A Flexible Working Hours Scheme is in operation. In view of the level of this appointment, the post holder will be required to work in such a way as to fulfil the obligations of the post. There is currently one permanent post based at based at NIFRS Learning & Development College, 120 Dungannon Road, Cookstown, BT80 9BD. This recruitment and selection process will also be used to fill future vacancies, a reserve list will be created for 12 months should any additional fixed term or permanent vacancies arise (offers of posts will be made in merit order).
