Vision for Education are working with primary schools across Cambridgeshire to recruit friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants, to start throughout February and March.
About the role
The role would be working on a day-to-day basis to cover both pre-booked cover - often in blocks of several weeks. The cover may be requested for all different year groups and key stages so experience of working in all primary phases is a bonus. Working hours can often be to suit your own personal preference as long as there is some consistency to your availability around school hours. You don't have to have TA experience if you have some transferable experience e.g. sports coaching, nursery experience or scouts/guides.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
1. Have experience working with primary age children.
2. Hold a Level 2 childcare qualification or above (not essential if you have experience).
3. Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required.
Salary
£85 to £100 per day. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
1. Experience of working with children in a school or similar setting e.g. Nurseries, Play Centres, Riding schools in the last 5 years.
