The Deputy MT Manager post is an essential business support function, supporting both of the Kineton based personnel on a daily basis.
DUTIES:
• Ensuring that the vehicle fleet is managed, serviced and used in accordance within policy guidelines.
• Using various management systems to ensure the forecasting and booking of all servicing and inspections, as well as requesting hire vehicles.
• To support the Unit's vehicle requirements to enable the delivery of operational training courses.
• Become the subject matter expert on MOD policy in respect of equipment care and guide where appropriate.
• Supervising, coaching and mentoring of staff within the department as appropriate/necessary.
• Maintaining the driver training records of all on site personnel.
• Completing driving tasks as required.
• Deputising for the MT manager as the occasion arises.
