Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of water structures and infrastructure projects.
2. Perform structural calculations, hydraulic modeling, and stability analysis.
3. Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
4. Conduct risk assessments, technical reviews, and quality assurance for water-related structures.
5. Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and contractors to ensure all requirements and standards are met.
6. Mentor and support junior engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership.
7. Prepare and review engineering reports, technical documents, and project plans.
8. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety protocols, and best engineering practices.
9. Innovate solutions to complex technical challenges, balancing efficiency, sustainability, and safety.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum 7+ years of experience in engineering roles focused on water structures or civil infrastructure.
3. Strong knowledge of design codes and standards related to water structures.
4. Proven experience in hydraulic engineering, geotechnical assessments, and structural design for water infrastructure.
5. Demonstrated leadership in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
6. Proficiency in engineering software tools.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to stakeholders.
