Senior Development Officer (Women & Girls)
To help us achieve our ambitions, we are seeking to appoint a Senior Development Officer (Women & Girls) to join our Executive team, and to lead the delivery and execution of the Women and Girls’ recreational cricket strategy.
About the Role
Joining us as our inaugural Senior Development Officer (Women & Girls) will afford you the opportunity to play an integral role in the Foundation from its formation as we pursue our vision for the wider region in support of widening the ECB's 'Inspiring Generations' strategic plan. In this role, we are seeking to recruit an individual who excels through:
1. Their passion and understanding of how the power of cricket can improve lives across Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.
2. Support for the delivery of a place-based strategy that seeks to create new places to play for women and girls across the County while supporting current cricket participants to thrive.
3. Championing equity, diversity, and inclusivity through their actions and behaviours.
4. Their teamworking qualities to bring ambition and energy into their teams.
5. Their drive to improve cricketing experiences in our leagues, clubs, and schools and an equal desire to create new cricket opportunities across our communities in the County.
6. Support for the delivery of partnerships across the County, both inside and outside of the game, to enable more women and girls to benefit from the social and wellbeing benefits of cricket.
7. Building cricket advocacy within our communities by empowering volunteers across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland to improve lives through cricket-related experiences.
