Job summary
We are recruiting for a�Information Governance Specialist to join our�Security and Information Team.�
The purpose of this role is to perform Ofsted�s information management and governance function, ensuring advice is given to Ofsted parties to ensure that data risks are identified and managed appropriately to support the effective delivery of Ofsted�s business. In doing so, to work closely with security colleagues across Ofsted and in the wider government community, making sure the appropriate information security standards are maintained.

Qualifications
Hold a relevant Information Security professional qualification or have equivalent knowledge and experience.

6. Excellent knowledge of Information Security standards and experience of its practical application, in addition a good working understanding of UK Data Protection, related legislation and codes of practice.
7. Experienced at building strong, effective and successful working relationships, whilst maintaining high standards, understanding organisation boundaries and collaborating with internal & external stakeholders.
