About the role
We are seeking a German Teacher to join our team of staff in supporting local vibrant and inclusive secondary schools. We are committed to providing these schools with excellent staff and strive to create a supportive environment where our staff and the students they work with can achieve their best.
The Role
As a German Teacher, you will:
* Deliver high-quality lessons in German to students at Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
* Plan and prepare engaging lessons that promote language acquisition, cultural appreciation, and a love for learning.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their language skills.
* Inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in German.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of an enriching modern foreign languages curriculum.
* Participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or exchange programs, to support students’ language learning.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and skilled German Teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Has a strong command of the German language and a deep understanding of German culture.
* Has experience teaching German at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4 essential; Key Stage 5 desirable).
* Is a confident communicator with excellent classroom management skills.
* Demonstrates a passion for languages and a commitment to student success.
* Is organised, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to engage in the wider school community.

* Must have experience in teaching German
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* Must be fluent in German
* Qualified PGCE Teacher would be an advantage.
