MBDA Missile Systems – Together. For the Future of Defence. Missile Architect (Electrical) Graduate Missile Architects in MBDA are deployed across all of the project teams. Our teams draw upon a range of inputs from around the company to drive a coherent top-level design for our missiles. Typically, the team consists of electrical, test, safety and reliability, and mechanical engineers so you will be working with a great mix of engineering fields What’s the opportunity? Electrical Architects work with a wide range of technical functions and provide direct input towards project delivery across the business. Within your role you will be working on several allocated projects, which could be at any stage of their lifecycle, and you will get to experience working with various people and departments within MBDA to learn your craft and help make a difference to achieve successful delivery of those projects for our customer. During the scheme you will get the opportunity to learn how to undertake and manage design as well as carry out performance trade-off studies. You will be involved with the requirements, specification, design and delivery of subsystem equipment into the project (e.g. Data-links, Weapon Control Units, Telemetry Units, etc) along with the possibility to assist with trials and testing of equipment and missiles during the development phase.
