We are looking for someone who’s highly committed in helping young people, many of whom have faced significant challenges, to achieve more than they might believe is possible.
A primary through to secondary school are looking for their next teaching assistant to help the children develop their resilience, confidence and academic potential. You’ll support them to develop positive relationships with adults and each other. It is not always easy for some, but we believe that progress is always possible through building trusting relationships and uplifting the confidence. Can you build these relationships and confidence within these children?
About the position:
The role is full-time and to begin in February. Monday- Friday (08:15-3:45) term time only.
No prior teaching qualifications/ experience in the classroom but has experience with challenging behaviour.
Classroom size no bigger than 8 students
Assist the class teacher in providing tailored educational support to students.
Provide one-on-one support and guidance to children, either individually or in small groups.

The successful candidate:
Ideally (but not essential) has experience working with children. Very desirable if you have worked with children with SEN/ SEMH needs.
