You will be immersed in the Materials, Science & Technology (MS&T) team at STADA. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining valuable experience in Process & Validation. Your contributions will directly support our MS&T team in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring high-quality Manufacture across the organisation.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
On a day-to-day basis your key responsibilities will include:
* Planning and implementing validation strategies to secure regulatory approvals for products in both domestic and international markets
* Deepen your knowledge of site-specific technologies and validation best practices
* Assist the technology transfer process as the receiving site, gaining hands-on experience in the commercialisation and product launch of new products
* Support site validation program for new and existing products, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and performance criteria
* Learn & utilise statistical analysis to deepen process understanding and knowledge
* Monitor critical variables and key parameters, using data trending to support equipment selection and validation activities
* Support validation councils and report status against plans, ensuring alignment with Tech transfer and validation plans
* Communicate and track cost-saving projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes

Course contents
* Utilise cognitive and practical skills in conjunction with adaptability and versatility in technical support both in-house and to clients to improve manufacturing processes, problem solving, innovation, and scale up formulations.
* Determine and use industry standard and emerging digital technologies and data analysis tools to complete work activities and address problems that are ill defined or involve numerous interacting factors.
* Critically evaluate actions, methodologies, and results and their implications in analysing materials against parameters in product specifications.
* Conduct and interpret failure analysis of engineering components using relevant methodologies and systems such as but not limited to, for example, microscopy, macroscopy, and chemical analysis.
* Write clear and succinct technical and analytical reports.
* Research, adapt and test new technologies through materials characterisation feedback.
* Interpret, develop and implement UK and international materials standards, procedures and specifications across a range of operations and contexts.
* Maintain a working knowledge of a range of project management and financial management techniques to complete projects relevant to their discipline.
* Utilise emotional intelligence and identify a range of supervisory, management, and leadership skills in developing the ability to mentor, direct or lead teams or individuals.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders using the appropriate language register both verbally and in writing.

Your training plan
Alongside your role as the Validation Apprentice, you will undertake the 4-year (Level 6) Apprenticeship to achieve your qualification through a mixture of on-site and online academic learning.
