Deliveroo HOP
Deliveroo HOP launched in September 2021 and is Deliveroo’s speedy grocery delivery service. Our mission is to deliver groceries to customers around the world in as little as 10 minutes. Working with trusted grocers, Deliveroo Hop promises to bring customers the very best products at lightning speed.
The team behind Deliveroo HOP is building a network of stores across London, the UK and International markets. Each delivery store is staffed with a team who have been specially trained to manage operations efficiently and pick and pack orders in record time, with Deliveroo’s 100,000 strong rider network completing all deliveries.
We’re looking for people with an exceptional drive and entrepreneurial spirit to join the team at Deliveroo Hop and help us build the leading speedy grocery delivery service.
The Role
The role of the Multi-Site Manager is to drive the highest performance possible within their respective cluster of sites. This includes maximising customer satisfaction, optimising productivity, maintaining strong stock accuracy, tightly controlling inventory, and minimising all wastage.
The Multi-Site Manager must create a positive and cooperative working environment for all colleagues, develop and train team members to the highest standard, and ensure that their operation remains safe, legal and compliant.
What You’ll be Doing
* Plan your work week effectively, splitting time between your respective sites to ensure compliance with company expectations.
* Lead your teams, working closely with the Assistant Manager in your respective sites to achieve company objectives.
* Act as a People Manager for all staff, supporting them throughout their organisational lifecycle.
* Recruit and onboard HOP team members within your remit.
* Develop, train and motivate employees to achieve ambitious targets.
* Demonstrate operational excellence by meeting KPI targets and constantly seeking improvement.
* Minimise wastage by supervising stock counts and inventory management.
* Supervise compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Drive strong standards within your sites, adhering to merchandising and space management principles.
* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Due Diligence measures.
* Complete high-quality schedules for your sites, adhering to company labour targets.
* Carry out regular Health & Safety checks and internal audits.
* Monitor customer feedback to improve the customer experience.
* Maintain good relations with external parties to uphold Deliveroo’s positive reputation.
* Liaise with counterparts across the business to improve operational performance.
* Participate and/or lead projects to improve the operating model and achieve company objectives.
Requirements
* Minimum of 3-4 years of grocery experience.
* Understanding and track record in managing P&L and KPI performance.
* Capability and track record for project management.
* Commercial acumen to identify opportunities to grow Order Volume & Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
* Knowledge of food safety and health and safety compliance requirements.
* Experience in leading a team, including recruiting and training team members.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
* Tech-savvy and comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
* ‘Can do, never give up’ attitude and desire to grow with Deliveroo.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to travel between locations, including overnight stays.
* Ability to comply with company working expectations.
