To complement our huge expansion plans for 2024 and onwards, we are currently recruiting for a Contract Kitchen Estimator to join the Wren family at our state-of-the-art Head Office facility.

contracts sector.
The ideal candidate will be driven, enthusiastic and have high levels of organisational ability. This is a permanent, office-based position offering a competitive salary.
Main Responsibilities:
* Analysing plans, BOQ’s and other project documentation to estimate project costs.
* Produce estimates to support delivery of the design ensuring it meets the customers’ requirements.
* Attend design review meetings with clients and the sales team were required.
* Create Design Approval packs for submission to sales team.
* Ensure that designs meet customer requirements and are delivered on time.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and standards and ensure compliance in all designs.
* Provide technical support to other team members as required.
* Manage project design change & cost variations.
* Process POs received from the sales team.
* Support new and ongoing projects, revisions, and inquiries
* Coordinate with sales, production, project control, site managers, and clients
* Ensure that we have up to date drawings and pricing information for sales quotations, working drawings and information relative to project control for existing / ongoing projects.
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
To succeed in this role, you will need to be creative and have a good technical brain. You will be able to work well under pressure in an extremely busy office and take direction from senior managers.
The ability to learn is key to this vacancy and to grow into the role as the department expands.
You will need good timekeeping, fantastic communication skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and planner Software.
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
* Exceptional design skills and ability to use planner/CAD software.
* Experience reading Architect drawings/Kitchen drawings
* Working on detail to a budget
* Knowledge of kitchen planning, installation, and legislation
* Have an eye for detail and continually strive for improvement.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Experience in volume plan creation, keeping the need for amendments to a minimum
* Technically strong with a good understanding of the kitchen industry
* Comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, and fast paced environment.
* Estimating in kitchens or Previous Design experience is preferred.
