Now, as part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior National Account Manager to take ownership of two of their largest Grocery retail partners.
The Role – Senior National Account Manager (Top 4 Grocers)
This is a high-impact commercial role, leading two major grocery retail partnerships and managing full P&L accountability across multiple category and product areas. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, JBP negotiations, and customer development, ensuring sustainable and profitable expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead Account Management – Be the primary contact for two of the UK’s leading grocery retailers, building and maintaining senior-level relationships.
✅ Drive Commercial Growth – Own full P&L responsibility, ensuring all decisions positively impact gross margin & contribution to profit.
✅ Category-Led Strategy – Influence category growth through data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with shopper trends and consumer needs.
✅ Negotiation & Joint Business Planning (JBP) – Lead annual JBP discussions, securing commercial agreements that drive mutual value.
✅ Innovation & Category Solutions – Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and NPD teams to deliver market-leading solutions.
✅ Distribution Expansion & Product Mix Optimisation – Maximise product listings, ensuring an optimal balance between sales growth and profitability.
✅ Stakeholder Influence – Navigate both internal and external business strategies, balancing retailer expectations with long-term commercial objectives.
This is a strategic leadership role within the Commercial Team—one that will provide both medium term stretch/challenge and long-term career progression.

Candidate Requirements
Proven experience leading Own Label grocery accounts within Consumer Products or FMCG.
Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of P&L ownership.
Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, both internally and externally.
A Category-Led mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Capable of managing complexity, balancing strategic goals with customer expectations.
