SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Sale (M33)
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in Sale.
This role involves working one-to-one with a KS2 Year 4 pupil with ADHD. The child already has an EHCP. The incoming SEN TA will be expected to work with the school's Year 4 teacher to ensure a cohesive class environment. The pupil can get frustrated by their work and is easily distracted, meaning some behavioural management may be necessary. The pupil is generally regarded as a kind and likable pupil who simply needs some direction in their day-to-day.
The incoming Teaching Assistant will be full-time, working Monday to Friday in school hours. This role is permanent, following a successful trial period paid on timesheets by Teaching Personnel.
About the role:
- £83.85+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees),
- Paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel,
- Opportunity to work closely with an individual pupil and make a difference,
- ASAP start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
This role presents the opportunity for an immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel. This is negotiable depending on applicants' notice period. Experience working with children is necessary. Experience with SEN is preferred.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
