Dueto increased demand they are now looking for a Quality Engineer.
KeyRoles & Responsibilities:
·The Quality Engineer isresponsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of the qualitycontrol / assurance management systems.
·Support the Quality Manager in themaintenance of the systems.
·Conduct internal audits and ensurethe audit schedule is maintained.
·Carry out Supplier validationaudits and risk assessments and develop supplier audit schedule in agreementwith QA Manager
·Facilitate Root Cause Analysis,Corrective Actions & Preventative Actions of Internal & SupplierQuality Issues.
·Review FAIR / PPAP documentation.
·Maintain the document control& calibration system.
·Create, maintain and review formsand procedures as required.
·Provide training and support onquality requirements and quality tools.
·Collate and evaluate data toidentify process improvement opportunities within the business and participateor lead improvement projects.
·Supports Continuous improvementefforts through involvement in structured problem solving and other activitiesusing LEAN concepts.
·Manage and coordinate QualityKPI’s as required.
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
·2+ years of work experience in aQuality Assurance Engineer role at a manufacturing site
·Robust knowledge and understandingof ISO 9001:2015.
·Auditor Qualification andexperience of conducting internal and supplier audits.
·Experience with Root CauseAnalysis (RCA) methods.
·Ability to read & interpretengineering drawings, standards and specifications.
·Sound quality judgement and decision-makingcapability.
·Manufacturing / engineeringexperience.
·ERP System experience.
·Team player with goodinterpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently and persuasivelywith a wide variety of people.
·Ability to collaborate and makepragmatic decisions that ensure compliance and quality while considering cost,schedule and risk.
·Excellent organisational skillsand ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
·Expected travel globally is up to 35%yearly or as necessary to exceed plan & activities.
