POST: Catering Assistant LOCATION: Shireland Technology Primary SALARY: Band A SCP 2 - £7,916 per annum Hours: 15 hours per week, Term Time Only Shireland Technology Primary is a growing two form entry Primary school aiming to provide an excellent catering service and the best school dinner experience for our pupils. We want to ensure that at all times, a happy and safe environment is provided; that our pupils get the most out of their experiences with us both inside and outside the classroom. We are new innovative two-form entry free school primary in the heart of Smethwick and situated on the same site as the three times outstanding secondary school Shireland Collegiate Academy. Our purpose is to empower pupils to achieve beyond expectations by providing the best technology-enabled education opportunities. Key Responsibilities: To assist the Catering Manager in the preparation and cooking of food and refreshments. To serve meals and refreshments in line with Academy requirements. To assist with the care, maintenance and general daily cleaning of kitchen and associated areas. Work within food hygiene regulations and Health & Safety.
