The Managing Director (MD) will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and management of the company. The MD will ensure the company's growth, profitability, and operational excellence by driving business development, optimizing production processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and long-term goals in alignment with the Board of Directors.
* Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in production processes.
* Financial Oversight: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive growth.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the executive team and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
* Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential risks.
* Innovation and Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Managing Director or in a similar Executive role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality control.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
* Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
