Registered Nurse Ward 114 Inpatient Oncology
Ward 114 is looking for enthusiastic registered nurses to join the team. We have multiple posts with varied hours.
Treatment for patients varies greatly from curative chemotherapy to palliative and end of life care, focusing on a holistic approach throughout.
Although fast paced, this is an incredibly rewarding ward to work in. Staff in this friendly and supportive team develop a wide range of nursing skills and knowledge. The Anchor Unit as a whole is sociable, fast moving, and progressive; actively supporting and promoting nurse led activities, development, and further study; offering excellent opportunities for both professional and personal development.
Candidates must have NHS experience to apply for this post. While some haematology/oncology experience is desirable, it is not essential.
It is a requirement that the successful candidates, if not currently on the SACT register, undertake chemotherapy module training after a period on the ward, with funding and support provided.
For an informal discussion, please contact SCN Leanne Duffy at 01224 552438.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
