This role supports the vision and values of Windsor Academy Trust. Key details: Hours: Monday to Friday (shifts tbc), 37 hrs per week Term-time only (38 weeks per year) Wage: £6,40 per hour Location: Perrott Street, Birmingham B18 4LX Apprenticeship details: Qualification: Level 3 Business Administration Duration of course: 18 months Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UKðÂÂÂ) All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside role. Full Duties and Responsibilities: Undertake reception duties, acting as the first point of contact in response to telephone and face-to-face enquiries, promptly passing on messages as required. Ensure compliance with the academy’s safeguarding and security procedures, ensuring all visitors sign in and are issued with appropriate identification. Assist with arrangements for visits (e.g. school photographer, external visitors), including hospitality. Support pupil/student welfare, liaising with parents/carers and staff as appropriate. Maintain the reception area to the highest standard, ensuring displayed information is current and welcoming. Administer basic first aid and medication as required, in line with academy procedures. Administration Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, typing, filing, emailing, and completion of routine forms/bookings. Update manual and computerised records/management information systems to ensure accurate record-keeping. Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail (including electronic mail) efficiently. Manage outgoing post and distribute delivered items accordingly. Arrange orderly and secure storage of supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained. Produce and respond to correspondence using templates (e.g. newsletters, parent communications). Undertake training and development as part of the apprenticeship, actively engaging in learning opportunities and applying new skills in the workplace.
