The role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious clients. Location: Manchester area
Hours: Variable 5 days over 7 (9 hour shifts)
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct undercover surveillance to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and other criminal activities within the store.
* Maintain a highly visible presence to deter potential offenders.
* Monitor CCTV systems to identify suspicious behaviour and incidents.
* Detain and interview individuals suspected of theft or wrongdoing, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
* Compile detailed reports and evidence, and confidently present findings to clients.
* Collaborate with store management and law enforcement as necessary.
* Assist with inventory audits and security assessments.
* Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
The ideal candidate
* At least 18 years old – a legal requirement to work in a front-line licensable activity
* SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
* Access to own Vehicle
* Strong communication and computer literacy
* 5 years checkable work and address history
* Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
* Friendly, approachable, and always professional
* Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
* Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
* Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
* Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
* Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
