We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Electrical Installation Technician to support the teaching and learning at the Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone (Ebbw Vale).
Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Qualifications: You will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Installation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support both staff and students in all aspects of the practical curriculum, including stock control and ordering.
2. Complete regular Health & Safety audits of the equipment and environment within this area.
Additional Requirements:
1. Teamwork, enthusiasm, and a flexible approach are required.
2. Lecturing posts will require a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or the willingness to attain one within a specified period of time.
