We are looking to recruit a conveyancing and private client secretary to work at our Sunderland office. Ideally this will be on a full-time basis but part time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Experience is preferable.
You will be joining a busy conveyancing and private client department and the main duties and responsibilities will include:
- drafting Contracts, Transfers and SDLT Returns;
- submitting registrations via HMLR Portal;
- assisting with the management of the administration of estates;
- assisting with the drafting of Court applications;
- audio typing, filing and other administrative duties which may be required from time to time
You must be able to work to the high standards and requirements of Lexcel and CQS.
Candidate Specification
We are seeking someone who has previously worked as a conveyancing secretary and is able to work with minimal support. You must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good IT and word processing skills. Knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations would be beneficial.
