We provide dedicated and person centred support to a young gentleman in the Coatbridge area, focussing on enhancing his quality of life and promoting independence. Our team consists of compassionate and trained Support Practitioners who support with personal care, mobility assistance and social engagements. The person we support is a social butterfly and is well known for his bright, bubbly personality and for his love of music. You will often find him either singing or dancing along to music either in his home or at one of the many groups he attends. He enjoys watching his films and he will reenact his films and will speak word for word what the characters are saying. We are seeking a candidate who shares a variety of interests. Shared interests include: Arts and Crafts: A love for creativity through drawing, allowing for expressive and fun projects together. Music and Dance: An appreciation for music, whether through dancing, attending concerts, to encourage self-expression and enjoyment. Community Involvement: Engaging in local events or participating in community activites, fostering a sense of belonging and connection. About you You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills and will give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too What we need you to be:- Driver: You must hold a full UK driving licence as the person we support has his own mobility car. Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication abilities to interact effectively and understand the person we supports needs. Activity Planning: Ability to plan and engage in various activities, such as sports, arts, and social events, tailored to the person we supports interests. Problem-Solving Skills: Quick and effective thinking to adapt to unexpected situations and find creative solutions. Team collaboration: Ability to work well with other colleagues, family members, and professionals to provide comprehensive support. Shift Patterns There is a rolling rota in place with a mix of dayshift and waking nightshift over four weeks. The hours generally range from 8am to 8pm, or 8pm to 8am.
