The role
As a Shift Manager, you'll lead, manage, and develop a high-performing production team to ensure operational targets and KPIs are consistently met. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in all aspects of production. From overseeing daily operations to managing stock levels and coordinating with planning and warehouse teams, this role is key to ensuring production goals are achieved efficiently, on time, and in full.
About you
1. Proven experience in production management, ideally within the food manufacturing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and health and safety practices.
3. A background in Lean, continuous improvement, or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) approaches.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
5. IOSH (preferred)
6. Competency in managing KPIs, productivity metrics, and team performance.
