We are looking for an experienced CCTV Engineer or Electronics Engineer who will be responsible for the smooth operation of CCTV, Information Screens, Ticketing Equipment, and USB Charging Points on a large fleet of coaches.
This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience as a CCTV Engineer or Electronics Engineer with experience in repairing similar systems, excellent technical problem-solving abilities, and strong initiative.
In this role, you will be diagnosing and repairing electronic faults to ensure all on-board systems are functioning efficiently. You will carry out routine maintenance and installations, working with precision to ensure minimal downtime. Regular software updates and accurate record-keeping are essential, as is liaising with suppliers and other teams to resolve technical issues. Compliance with health and safety standards while working on vehicles and equipment is also vital.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience repairing electronic systems, such as CCTV or alarms, and a solid understanding of electrical components. You should have basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and Excel, and be confident working independently.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use hand tools effectively are essential. A valid UK driving licence is required, and although you'll receive training, a general knowledge of electrical repairs is necessary.
Due to the nature of the business, the hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 2pm - 10pm, with an hourly pay rate of £22.89 per hour (£45K).
