Description
People Data Analyst – 12 month FTC
Focus: Data analysis, recruitment data support, and reporting to deliver actionable insights and improve organisational outcomes.
What you will be doing:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Analyse employee and organizational data, including engagement, retention, diversity, talent development, and performance metrics.
* Synthesize large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, generating actionable insights.
* Develop, maintain, and enhance HR analytics dashboards through collaboration with key stakeholders.
Recruitment Data Support:
* Partner with the recruitment team to provide data insights that improve hiring outcomes and efficiency.
* Support recruitment systems by generating analytics on candidate pipelines, time-to-hire, and source effectiveness.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting on recruitment metrics to help optimize the talent acquisition process.
Data Management and Quality:
* Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CTPA).
* Partner with IT to optimize data systems and processes.
* Collaborate with the People Systems Advisor to ensure HRIS data quality and accuracy.
6 Months FTC Projects
Recruitment Reporting and Insights
Timeline: Months 1–3
* Collaborate with the recruitment team to fully integrate the Pinpoint platform’s reporting capabilities, ensuring it meets the data needs of the internal recruitment process.
* Develop standardized reporting templates to evaluate internal recruitment KPIs, including metrics like time-to-hire, cost of hire, and source effectiveness.
* Create a robust framework to monitor and assess the performance of the RPO (Instant Impact) on an ongoing basis, with clear, actionable insights for leadership.
Finance Data Standardization
Timeline: Months 2–4
* Partner with the finance team to map out data flows between HR systems and financial platforms, identifying gaps and inefficiencies.
* Implement a standardized data communication process to enable seamless reporting between HR & finance for commercial managers & other stakeholders.
L&D Reporting Framework
Timeline: Months 4–6
* Work closely with the L&D and Early Ambitions teams to understand their reporting needs and objectives.
* Utilize Adobe’s reporting suite in conjunction with HRIS (Cascade) to create dashboards that track key L&D metrics, such as participation rates, training completion, and ROI on learning initiatives.
* Begin tracking Early Ambitions data through Cascade and/or Adobe to create a reliable single source of truth for HR and L&D.
* Deliver a comprehensive reporting toolkit to empower the L&D team with actionable insights and enable data-driven planning for future initiatives.
What you will need:
Necessary:
* Completion of a business apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
* Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
* Eagerness to learn and develop in the HR or analytics field.
Nice to Have:
* Advanced Excel skills: Ability to develop flexible models that can adjust to changes in input variables to simulate remuneration scenarios.
* Strong PowerPoint skills.
* Experience of using reporting tools, such as Power BI.
* Previous experience in an administrative or support role.
* Experience of HRIS systems, especially Cascade, Pinpoint, ALM, or Aderant.
* Understanding of HR principles and practices.
* Exposure to HR functions through internships, apprenticeships, or coursework.
