Description Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget. As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities. Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. Responsibilities Oracle's Hospitality Global Business Units (GBUs) provide best-in-class products for the hospitality industry, including the number one Property Management System, OPERA PMS, which is being used by more than 40k properties world-wide across 190 countries. Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP) is a cloud-native integration solution, which centralizes, consolidates, and streamlines all Oracle Hospitality interface capabilities and related processes into a single and unified platform. OHIP provides our customers and partners a self service experience including access to a Developer portal with over 3k REST and GraphQL API capabilities. We are expanding to include more API capabilities, as well as developing innovative new features such as Streaming API to meet the demands of our rapidly expanding partner and customer developer community to deliver an enhanced developer experience. To meet this challenge we are a looking for a Product Manager will bring to the position a high level of energy, willingness to adapt to change and a passion for delivering customer focused products. What you’ll do Contribute to the vision, strategy and roadmap for Hospitality products and be accountable for a clear set of business and product metrics Work closely with all stakeholders including engineering, UX designers and Product teams to understand and articulate the needs and to design a product that is well understood and delivers an exceptional user experience Define requirements and prioritize the teams backlogs to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the technical integrity of the features or components for the team Respond to feature and functionality questions from the various channels, including both internal/external customers and partners Collaborate with customers and partners to identify business opportunities and conduct user research to ensure outside in thinking Contribute to the delivery of excellent Product documentation including API documentation, release notes, blogs, online help and training materials Stay on top of consumer trends and Oracle Hospitality’s strategic and competitive edge Other duties may be assigned What you will bring 4 years of experience in the domain and a track record of successful product outcomes A good understanding and experience of working with software platforms Experience and or hands-on knowledge of Product Management processes, focused on customer-based strategic product management You are highly collaborative and enjoy working across multiple teams You have a good understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle and agile methodologies You are an excellent communicator, communicating concepts and ideas to team members and stakeholders at all levels You have a Passion for and a genuine interest in APIs and modern platforms Previous experience working within a multi-cultural global software development environment and/or Hospitality industry a bonus Lastly, this is a highly visible role requiring a mix of product management, business and technical skills.
