The Operations Monitoring & Maintenance Manager will oversee the efficient operation of solar, battery, and EV systems across the UK. If you have experience in solar maintenance and a passion for developing new business models, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.\n\nOperations and Maintenance:\n\n * Execute and implement a commercial business plan to deliver service contracts nationwide.\n\n * Oversee the recruitment process and build a resourceful team to support business operations.\n\n * Manage and implement maintenance schedules for Solar, Battery, and EV assets to ensure optimal system efficiency.\n\n * Develop and apply Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and monitoring schedules.\n\n * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and manage timely repairs and replacements to minimize downtime.\n\n * Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.\n\n * Identify and implement software solutions to support business operations.\n\nTeam and Supply Chain Management:\n\n * Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and field service engineers.\n\n * Train and mentor personnel on maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols.\n\n * Coordinate with third-party service providers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure high-quality work.\n\n * Manage work orders, service contracts, and agreements.\n\nPerformance Monitoring and Reporting:\n\n * Utilize monitoring software to proactively track system performance and identify issues.\n\n * Analyze data on system efficiency, energy output, and operational costs to optimize performance.\n\n * Recommend system upgrades and improvements based on data analysis and performance metrics.\n\nCompliance and Safety:\n\n * Ensure all activities are carried out safely, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.\n\n * Conduct site and transport inspections to enforce safe working practices.\n\n * Stay up to date with industry advancements and emerging technologies that can drive efficiency.\n\nQualifications:\n\n * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferred).\n\n * 5+ years of experience in maintenance, monitoring, and operations for solar, battery storage, and EV systems.\n\n * Strong understanding of electrical systems, including inverters, panels, batteries, and distribution networks.\n\n * Familiarity with solar monitoring systems and energy management systems (EMS/BMS).\n\n * Proven experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and implementing preventative maintenance strategies.\n\n * Strong leadership skills with a proactive attitude to problem-solving.\n\n * In-depth knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.\n\n * Experience with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems is advantageous.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nOpportunity to work with a rapidly growing company in the renewable energy sector.\n\nProfessional development and career growth opportunities.\n\nCompetitive basic salary of up between £50,000 - £75,000.\n\nA collaborative and supportive work environment.\n\nCompany pension scheme.\n\nCar allowance or mileage allowance (if applicable).\n\nWork Pattern:\n\n40 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 / Friday 08:00 – 16:00\n\nFull-time, office-based role with regular site visits
