Our client, a well-regarded primary school based in Bracknell Forest, Berkshire, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil on a 1:1 basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey while gaining valuable experience within a supportive and nurturing school environment.
About the Role:
* Providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with additional learning needs.
* Assisting with classroom activities and delivering tailored interventions.
* Supporting the pupil's academic, emotional, and social development.
* Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals.
* Maintaining consistent routines and using strategies to promote positive behaviour.
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school.
* Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for education.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to build trusting relationships with children, staff, and families.
* A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential.
