About Us We are an MSP based in Huddersfield and Kendal, with a strong National Customer base with over 35 years’ experience, employing 40 dedicated staff of problem solvers. Our Software business provides Accounts, Payroll, Stock Management and CRM Software as well as providing Bespoke Solutions. About the Role As the Software Support Consultant, you will on a day-to-day basis be involved in the investigation and resolving both customer and internal support requests in relation to our current Accounting, Payroll, Stock Management and CRM software, but as we develop our new packages, you will have the opportunity to provided your input into how the package is designed and functions, working alongside our developers to produce the best software package on the market. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality of service to all our customers new and old, be able to identify and solve issues both as part of the software support team and by taking ownership of the issue. With excellent communication skills, you will be able to communicate confidently with customers at all levels as well as internal developers and engineers building relationships that help drive the business forward. You need to be an all-rounder who is driven by Customer Service, always provide an excellent service. Responsibilities & Primary Tasks Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Accurately update database records as required with all interaction. Always maintain client confidentiality and security of both company and client’s data. Investigate and monitor customer issues bring them to resolution by taking ownership of the issue. Testing new software releases. Remote access client computers to help with installations or software issues. Management of tickets in a priority manner. Maintain documentation for help guides and standard operation procedures. Update client on progress in a prompt and timely manner. Essential Skills and experience: Experience of working in a Software Support environment and/or using Helpdesk Ticketing Systems. Problem Solving and Time Management skills. Basic MS Office skills. Excellent communication skills to rapidly establish rapport with customers and other internal and external professionals. The ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines. Ability to manage and priorities own workloads as well as work under instruction. Desirable Experience using accounts and payroll software. Hands on experience with running payroll and/or account ledgers. Knowledge of Accounting and Payroll Software, e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks. AAT or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience. CIPP or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience. Remuneration and Benefits Salary £27,000 per annum. Raising to £30,000 after a successful review and completion of your probation. 40 hour working week.
