Set in the heart of Marylebone, OPSO introduced and established the Modern Greek food in Londons dining scene 10 years ago, combining the contemporary culinary perspective with the famous Greek hospitality. We are looking to recruit a Senior Pastry Chef De Partie to join our team. You will be expected to prepare breads, pastries and cakes to the highest level and be capable of managing a busy a la carte service. This is a great opportunity for Pastry Chefs and artisan bakers wishing to progress and learn along our highly awarded Senior Chefs team.
You will be fully trained and will have the great opportunity to learn new techniques and methods of making breads and desserts.
Salary: up to £38,700 per year
Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
Requirements:
-Previous 3 years experience in a high-end hospitality venue in the pastry section
-Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
-Eagerness to learn and progress within our team
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the preparation and presentation of a variety of pastries and desserts, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity.
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient food production and service flow.
-Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while managing kitchen operations.
-Follow recipes or develop new ones to maintain quality and consistency.
-Ensure all pastries and desserts are prepared to the highest standard.
-Keep the pastry section clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
-Coordinate with the service team for special orders or events.
