Key Account Manager - Your future position?
We are looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join our team at Givaudan. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our business with designated accounts in the UK market. We are looking for a sales/business professional with a background in the food or related industry.
You will be based in Milton Keynes and report to the Sales Director Savoury & Snacks UK & Ireland, you will be part of our Commercial Team UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in designated accounts
2. Position Givaudan as the preferred supplier for our customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
3. Create and implement strategic Account Development Plans (ADPs), sales forecasts, and budgets for key accounts, with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve growth
4. Manage the brief pipeline to achieve growth plans, ensuring the quality and quantity of projects meet customer expectations
5. Defend and grow our base business in key markets and with key customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services
6. Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines and manage credit, pricing, rebates, and terms for key accounts
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify and maximize opportunities for new business development
8. Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of customer projects and initiatives
9. Provide regular reports and updates on account performance, market trends, and customer insights to the management team
Requirements:
1. University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Sales, Marketing)
2. 4-6 years of successful sales, marketing, or customer relationship experience in the food or related industry, with experience achieving sales targets and driving business growth
3. Apply strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills to develop Account Development Plans (ADPs) that align with our goals
4. Knowledge of customers and competition in the UK market, including an understanding of customer strategy, projects, priorities, launch processes, and how to position Givaudan offerings
5. Negotiation and relationship-building skills with key customer decision-makers, with the ability to influence and persuade partners at various levels
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
7. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
