Electrical Installation Engineer

Day-to-day of the role:
Carry out manufacturing according to the scope of supply received from the technical area, through the Production Manager.
Perform installation work of substation LV distribution and substation control.
Conduct electrical and mechanical installations.
Assemble VT Chambers and VT fuse box assembly.
Assemble Protection and Control panels.
Manage the internal layout of control cabinets, including relays, meters, connectors, etc.
Handle internal electrical wiring and assemble the P&C panel onto the switchgear.
Conduct PDI Inspection and Function testing of the switchgear.
Perform functional testing of CTs and VTs.
Provide general assistance with the day-to-day operation of the production area.Required Skills & Qualifications:
General IT skills (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
NVQ / City & Guilds level 2 / 3 qualification in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation) or similar.
Desirable: Experience in the electrical industry and ability to read and interpret wire/electrical drawings.
Advantageous: 18th edition Electrical installation, experience working with Medium Voltage Switchgear, Auxiliary Transformers, Voltage transformers and current transformers, wiring of Control panels and LV installations.Benefits:
