Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to manage a team of technical and support staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling regional programmes that ensure a balance between customer service, regulatory compliance, operational performance, and financial efficiency. These programmes will address key regulatory requirements, such as ODI/SIM, with a specific focus on preventing flooding and pollution caused by wastewater network assets.
Job Accountabilities
* Co-ordination of Wastewater Network input to major capital projects to ensure assets are fit for purpose.
* Direct management/control over a high volume of individual projects.
* Be the first point of contact for any escalations.
* Develop annual plans to ensure planned cyclic operational activities are carried out in an effective and efficient way, optimising revenue expenditure. Typical activities will include ancillary inspections, cyclic desilting and M&E routine maintenance.
* Management of a capital investment budget, split between sewer network, pumping stations/M&E assets and serviceability.
