Managerial responsibilities: to include level of responsibility for: Directly line manage one or more Project Managers and the GIRFT Coordinator, depending on the portfolio, ensuring effective performance and development Lead major transformation programmes and specific projects, aligning then with the Trusts strategic objectives to achieve measurable improvements in performance and patient care Provide expert leadership in change management and service redesign, driving sustainable improvements in productivity, efficiency and patient care Develop and implement systems for monitoring progress, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes are achieved Identify and lead opportunities for service improvement, building meaningful relationships quickly in-order to foster staff involvement, maximising innovation and impact Bring business skills and commercial acumen into the clinical and corporate groups, helping others to understand NHS business rules and processes designed to ensure probity and best use of tax payers money Lead on the identification of opportunities for improvement that maximise the involvement of all staff in the development of services across the Trust. Work closely with local teams as required delivering the transformation programmes and Efficiencies plan, influencing staff outside of the TE PMO. To lead on major programmes of work, business case development and other specific projects that supports the organisation in achieving improved performance through implementing a range of improvement methodologies in line with the Trusts service/business objectives in order to promote sustainable change. To provide expert leadership and support for change management and service redesign, enabling the development of improvement initiatives that will lead to improved productivity, efficiency and effectiveness to deliver high quality care to patients as well as delivering against the Trust strategic objectives.
