Our integrated, forward-thinking Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) goes beyond traditional urgent care. If you value professional growth, and want to make a meaningful difference in urgent care - this role is for you Main duties of the job Working within the wider HUC unscheduled care division and with local healthcare providers, the advanced nurse practitioner/advanced clinical practitioner will complete the assessment and treatment of patients at a GP-led Urgent Treatment Centre, who may present with acute and/or chronic illnesses and/or injury; in order to determine a clinical diagnosis, treatment and appropriate discharge. Using your streaming/triage experience gained within an urgent treatment centre/emergency department or minor injury unit, you will receive patients as they present with complex and/or chronic illnesses and/or injury, that have been triaged and referred by the patients own GP or 111. You will autonomously undertake clinical assessments, to determine a clinical diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate discharge.
