We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated person to join our team as a Senior Support Organiser.
This post is fixed term for 18 months from appointment date.
The Senior Support Organiser will work within the management team to co-ordinate and lead, providing line management, supervision, direction and professional practice guidance to Support Organisers within the Supporting Independence Team. They in turn lead teams of Support Assistants to provide time limited direct care and support to people living within their own homes within the city of Hull (reablement).
The Senior Support Organiser supports the Assistant Manager in directing operational functions within the team, collating statistics for performance monitoring and takes direction from the Assistant and Registered Manager to ensure the implementation of quality assurance practices.
The post holder will lead on ensuring the Supporting Independence Active Recovery service is delivered, undertaking daily reviews of team functions, using problem solving, rota management and negotiation skills to ensure services are effectively maintained, to ensure that people are supported effectively to regain their independence and remain in their own homes. Supporting staff through PGPR and training and those who are undertaking apprenticeships and diplomas, encouraging staff development through championing a positive learning environment to maintain a well-trained workforce.
It is essential that the post holder holds a Social or Health Care Qualification at Level 3 equivalent AND a level 4 qualification in care or equivalent (HNC and/or HND level qualification or equivalent level of experience) alongside a Leadership and/or Management Qualification. It is also essential to have knowledge of the CQC regulations, experience of supervision of staff including conduct, competency and sickness, in addition to having excellent working knowledge around implementation of performance management including production of reports, data and monitoring of actions.
