Job Description
* Oversee financial operations including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
* Develop and implement effective financial strategies and policies.
* Manage financial risk and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
* Prepare detailed financial reports and statements.
* Work closely with other departments to drive financial performance.
* Provide financial insight and analysis to inform business decisions.
* Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
* Lead, develop and motivate the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Director should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
* Strong financial and accounting knowledge.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Experience in a similar role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
