We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Motor Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician / Car Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join our clients dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using both power and hand tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of our services.
Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / Motor Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician / Car Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician:
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
Experience of the successful Vehicle Technician / Motor Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician / Car Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician:
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• A relevant qualification in automotive technology or mechanics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Own tools
• Full UK DL
8.00 – 5.30 Monday – Friday. Saturday 1 in 3 on a 8.30 – 12.30. When you work the Saturday, you get the following Friday half day.
