Axon Moore have partnered with a fast-growing and industry-leading business in Lancashire in their search for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented P2P Analyst to support finance operations regarding the procure-to-pay process. This role offers excellent exposure along with opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within a high-calibre finance team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Oversee the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including requisitioning, purchasing, and payments
2. Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to ensure maximum efficiency
3. Conduct monthly P2P reconciliations
4. Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, purchase orders, and payment schedules
5. Identify areas for improvement in P2P processes and work with team members to implement process enhancements
6. Assist with month-end close tasks, i.e. P2P-related accruals, reconciliations, and reporting for the finance team
7. Ensure compliance with VAT, tax requirements, and internal audit controls
8. Contribute to process improvement projects focused on automation, workflow enhancement, and systems optimisations
9. Provide data and support for internal audits and ad-hoc reporting requests
Required Skills and Experience:
1. At least 2 years’ experience in an Analyst position for P2P or AP
2. Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
3. Advance MS Excel skills
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
5. High attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on continuous process improvement
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and adaptable approach
