Deputy Home Manager – Plymouth
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading care provider in South West England, for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join their exceptional team at a well-established care home in Plymouth.
About the Role
As the Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the home. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will take on leadership responsibilities, inspire the care team, and provide exceptional care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Home Manager in all aspects of home management, stepping into their role in their absence.
* Lead, inspire, and manage the care team to deliver the highest standard of care and quality of life for residents.
* Liaise with the clinical lead to monitor care standards, conduct regular audits, and oversee compliance.
* Promote a positive and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
* Undertake safeguarding investigations and manage clinical risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Nurse, with a strong background in caring for residents with varied health needs, including advanced dementia.
* Qualifications: Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
* Skills: Proven experience managing staff, leading a team, and driving quality care standards.
* A compassionate leader with excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
