Certain Advantage is hiring for a Senior Administrator based in Preston.
This role is on a permanent basis and is office based.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Administrator to join our team in Preston. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes, supporting senior management, and coordinating office activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level administrative support to senior management and various departments.
* Oversee and maintain office procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
* Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone inquiries.
* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
* Maintain and update records, databases, and filing systems.
* Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for senior staff.
* Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Support HR and finance teams with administrative tasks, including payroll and invoicing.
* Assist in project coordination and deadline management.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and work flow.
* Provide guidance and support to junior administrative staff when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Senior Administrator or similar role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
* Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience in an Administration environment.
* Knowledge of CRM or database management systems.
* Working in a construction environment is preferred but not essential.
