About the Role – Site Manager (Re-Cladding Project) We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee a prestigious £2 million re-cladding project at a leading college. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring the smooth execution of the re-cladding works in accordance with the project schedule, budget, and quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in managing site personnel, liaising with contractors, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate all site activities for the re-cladding project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Manage subcontractors and construction teams, ensuring the work is performed efficiently and meets the project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues as they arise. Work closely with the Project Manager, client representatives, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on progress and resolve any challenges. Ensure full compliance with all legal, health, safety, and environmental requirements, promoting a safe working environment at all times. Oversee material procurement, managing delivery schedules and ensuring that materials meet the required standards and specifications. Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, daily logs, and incident reports.
