* Provide IT Technical 1st and 2nd Level Support on-site to all Grangemouth employees. Ensure employees are kept updated with the status of their fault and speedy resolution.
* Follow ITIL best practice using Piramal Helpdesk System.
* Supporting stakeholders with new Lab systems and new technologies required to meet business needs.
* Support and maintain IT Hardware, Software and documentation as required.
* IT Housekeeping e.g. Daily System Checks, Backups, Restores, Security Compliance Initiatives.
* Follow compliance regulations pertinent to the systems that hold and process our data.
* Support with IT Projects and Piramal IT Roadmap plans.
* To carry out ad-hoc responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Educated to degree level in an IT discipline or equivalent, related intermediate-level certification(s) in the work field. Example, Microsoft Certifications, ITIL, CCNA.
Essential Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line support role. Active Directory, Microsoft O365, SCCM, Windows Operating Systems including servers. Excellent broad understanding of current and new IT concepts, technologies, networking and security trends. A high standard of interpersonal and communication skills, customer focused with high attention to detail essential.
